PI ALPHA OMEGA'S COMMUNITY IMPACT

Hear directly from our community partners about our impact!

OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS

Atlanta Habitat for Humanity transforms communities by acting as a catalyst for neighborhood revitalization through education, innovative development, partnerships, and long-term relationships with individuals and families.

Atlanta Metropolitan State College, an access institution of the University System of Georgia, educates students from diverse backgrounds by providing affordable, career-focused bachelor’s and associate degree programs. The College offers student-centered instruction, civic/community engagement, and quality services that lead to the success of its inter-generational 21st century graduates.

At Atlanta Public Schools (APS), their mission is through a caring culture of equity, trust, and collaboration, every student will graduate ready for college, career, and life. Their vision is one of a high-performing school district where students love to learn, educators inspire, families engage and the community trusts the system.

Cascade Springs Nature Conservancy/Preserve features a 125-acre forested city park nestled in Atlanta’s Cascade Heights neighborhood. Inside this old-growth forest, you will find unique plants and animals, a waterfall, three artesian springs, and 250-million-year-old rocks. Humans have lived in and around Cascade Springs for over 10,000 years. From pre-Columbian engineering to 19th-century terrace farming to modern greenhouses, humans have impacted the land in many ways.
